We are an inclusive community which welcomes students from all over the world. We currently have postgraduate students from more than 80 countries studying at the School of Clinical Medicine
Before you apply
Choose a course and ensure you meet the academic entry requirements. You can explore the different course types in greater detail here. If you have not previously studied in the UK, it is important to check the academic equivalence guidelines for your country using the search function on this page here. Alongside the academic entry requirements, you must also meet other various entry requirements for postgraduate admission to the University which you can read about here. It’s essential that your English language skills are good enough for you to undertake an intensive postgraduate course which will be taught and examined in English. Therefore, if English isn’t your first language you will be required to submit evidence that you meet the University’s English language requirement before you are admitted to your proposed course of study. You can find more information about English Language requirements for postgraduate students here.
How to apply?
We recommend applying as early as possible. You can find the deadlines associated with your course here.
For most postgraduate courses, you are expected to use the University’s online system to make your application, but we would recommend checking the individual course pages prior to applying, as for some courses you may need to make an application directly to the Department, or Funding Body, or potentially both.
